Overview

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Account Supervisor to join our team. The Account Supervisor will be responsible for managing a team of accountants and overseeing the financial operations of our organization. The successful candidate should have a strong background in accounting, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Responsibilities

The Account Supervisor's responsibilities include:

  • Managing Accountants: Supervise and lead a team of accountants to ensure the accurate and timely completion of financial tasks, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
  • Preparing Financial Reports: Oversee the preparation of financial reports, including budgets, balance sheets, and income statements.
  • Maintaining Financial Records: Ensure accurate and up-to-date financial records are maintained, and perform regular audits to identify and correct errors.
  • Collaborating with Other Departments: Work closely with other departments, such as sales and marketing, to ensure financial data is accurately recorded and reported.
  • Managing Projects: Take ownership of special projects, such as financial planning or software implementation, and manage them from start to finish.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for the Account Supervisor position should possess the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in accounting or a related field
  • Proven experience managing a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
